Abstract

The book “System perspective as the basis for philological idea” (440 pages) by O. Valentinova, V. Denisenko, S. Preobrajenskij, M. Rybakov, and published in Moscow at JASK publishing house displays the best examples of the numerous opportunities that the method of systematic analysis can bring into linguistics and modern philologу. This multi-authored monograph consists of 4 parts, i.e. “Theory evolution on typological similarity of languages,” “Language system modeling,” “System approach towards text and style research: explanation for the causality text typology,” “System analysis of lyrics.” In the book the system method is considered according to Melnikov internal theory, based on the premise that the internal language factor is an integrated corestone and is influenced greatly by the external determinant (ex.: peculiarities of communication). The monograph covers wide range of topical scientific issues in modern philological science.
