Abstract

The article provides a comparative analysis of the parascience and styles of Russian sci-fi literature. It identifies creative foundation of the story the relationship of parascience with such styles as science fiction and folk history and defines the artistic differences and similarities of parascience with these styles. As comparative analysis showed parascience is able to act as a new style in the Russian science fiction literature and is a new artistic form of expression of the creative ideas in modern art. Parascientific art has certain foundations that enable it to function as a new direction in modern art. These foundations can be traced in the content and story line of parascientific theories, works of science fiction and folk history. Thus these are manifested in identical artistic techniques of plot reproduction, methods of implementation of the basic ideas and creative methods. It turns out that parascience has all the necessary informative and narrative qualities of modern artwork. Therefore, parascience, along with science fiction and folk history is able to take on the role of a new movement in modern artistic creativity and generate new ideas for this type of work. This comes to be the main creative role of parascience in modern artistry.
