Abstract: The paper introduces the author`s commentary who is at the same time the author of the conception of a round table meeting conducted by Research Institute of the academy of Arts (18 November 2015), dedicated to the art of integration processes in modern architecture and other art forms, current artistic practices and methods of their study. The role of the artist in human adaptation to the new urban spaces and architecture now is very important. Today active implementation of innovative technologies and new materials in modern construction, the effect of urban planning creative concepts Urban complicates the language of architectural forms, generates new imagery, dramatically changing the usual picture of the city. Among professionals (practicing architects, artists, designers), and in society there is a cultural request to update the complex of knowledge in the area of formation of aesthetically fulfilling and healthy living environment. Being aware of the relevance of such a request, theorists of art and architecture, art critics tend to a new understanding of traditional general cultural problems of interaction and synthesis of the arts. The problem of the modern researcher is to identify promising trends in a new strategy of transformation of the environment, which suggests keeping a variety of factors, as well as accessing the various creative techniques to master the tools of integration while at the same time it is difficult to control the current processes and the achievement of the desired harmony. Very important, in particular, is to clarify our relationship with the figurative and the communication potential of such types of art as installation in an urban environment, monumental forms of assemblage, a symbiosis of landscape and architectural designs, as well as other multilateral relations. Of the various issues raised in the discussion at the round table, there are three main vectors, which correspond to the three conceptual models of artistic unity. The first is a model of modernist art integration, based on counterpoint of Wagnerian and avant-garde synthetic structures. The second — postmodern version. The third one — the modern concept of the “new” organicist “utopia” outlining the contours of an ideal model of artistic integrity.The meeting, supported by speeches of experts from various fields: theorists and historians of architecture, aesthetics, art, culture — can be considered as the first attempt at a kind of monitoring which helps to identify ways of understanding the pressing matters of the processes of studying an artistic integration and to clarify others issues along the way.
