| Abstract: |
The article presents the first ever made analysis of Leonov’s essays of the war period in mythical-and-poetical aspect. The main consideration has been given to the Beast/Serpent mythologema, a substitute for the naming of the enemy. The reader could trace back its ancient origin in the writer’s works. |
