| Abstract: |
The paper exercises an analytical approach to the investigation of the phenomenon of Slavs and to the features of its social and cultural dynamics in modern times. Based on the selection of three types of system characteristics: linguistic unity, nucleus of institutionalization and development of forms of living together (considered as an essential component of the historical and cultural dynamics), the paper makes comparison of structural and functional (essential), contradictory elements, representing the contradictions in development and social and cultural dynamics remaining till the modern period, and also of contemporary element, representing the effects of historical transformations of our time, plans to display these types of properties. The results of the analysis reveal the problems, which haven't yet been solved in the historical process of cultural formation of Slavs in the history of modern civilization, and it makes it possible to take them into account in the development of current and future international projects. |
