The article is devoted to the XVI century iconography of the Russian icon The Holy Trinity in Trinity church of Divnaya gora village by Uglich. It contains a detailed review of the image and its symbols, analitical comparison with other monuments, on the basis of which the liturgical meaning of the icon and the place of the monument in Russian church art is revealed. |
