| Abstract: |
The paper based on «The Journey of the Blessed Theodora through Ordeals» analyzes the structure of national eschatological representations in Russia. It is shown that the structure of initiations in ritual death which symbolizes spiritual transformation of the subject of initiation is reproduced in the ordeals. |
