| Abstract: |
This article considers traditional Iranian pottery as a part of religions life. The pictures which cover a vessel are not only decorative but also reflect the idea of the Universe. The author analyses peculiarities of shapes and patterns in pre-islamic and Islamic Iranian pottery according to aesthetic principles of corresponding periods. |
