The article is devoted to the analysis of the philosophical and aesthetic fundamentals of Russian symbolism such as sophiology, theurgy and sobornost' (catholicity). In Russian symbolism this fundametals are inextricably united and lead the artist-creator to the ultimate goal of Russian symbolism - the transformation of the world, the embodiment of the divine plan in the process of the combined action - the Mystery-play. |
