The paper explores the existing explanations of the main character's name Khludov in the play «Flight» by M. Bulgakov. An attempt is made to find a new interpretation on the basis of investigation of linguistic, biographical and historical facts connected with the personality of M. Bulgakov, but not on the study of Explanatory Dictionary by V. Dahl. |
