| Abstract: |
The article deals with some aspects of the problem of light in the fine arts of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. It compares different conceptions of light essence and gives a short analysis of the interpretations of the categories of light, both physical and philosophical. The article shows that modern concept of light in fine arts originated as a consequence of long evolution. |
