The article outlines semantics, peculiarities of usage and the origin of the symbol of the lion that characterizes the image of Falsedimitri I in the «The other legend», a compilation monument of the XVII century. The leading motifs of blood, death, diabolism, which elucidate the semantic meaning of the symbol in the work, are revealed. |
