Abstract

Theme of fate holds a special place in the works of A. S. Pushkin. Fate has several incarnations. This is either a good Providence or an evil Fatum or a chance that plays with man. This paper is to consider the realization of a terrible fate in non-lyrical poetry where a special space, in which a person turns out to be a “toy” of transpersonal forces and eventually meets his doom, is created. However we must note that a man falls under the influence of evil fate due to his certain actions or thoughts. And while Providence is supportive Fate, the evil Fatum, brings to him only sufferings.
