Abstract

The reality, having commandingly intruded into the long-lasting classic moral discourse, has shaken its previous structure. It became unclear how human being can and should exist as a free subjectivity and is there any firm basis in ethical dimensions of its life. Advancing processes of individualization along with persistently advocated rights and values of the individual personality, destroy the sense of oneness and lead to the collapse of the whole system of moral norms, causing moral chaos in the modern society. Russian philosophy previously and currently sees the cause of this state of things in the denial of metaphysical basis, which determines existence of humans. Realizing the limits of rationality it turns toward those things beyond rational realm, revealing active dialectics of two dimensions of human existence. In human it sees the creature capable of a moral act due to the inclusion into the oneness of the world. The latter is considered as vital.

Keywords
