Abstract

Mixture of nations, differing by linguistic and ideological positions is a characteristic feature of the modern world. It produces a variety of interpersonal interactions within the complex system of organizational management ensuring labor activity. Executives are in a constant need of making difficult decisions regarding the effective sharing of labor duties. The more effective solution is, the more stable the organization's functioning gets. Management performance depends on the competitiveness of the management team and its ability to take decisions in a multilingual multicultural environment. The knowledge of the features of language communicative activities is one of the key components of competitive advantages of a Manager in organizations with the presence of multiple, intersecting cultures. Leaders differ in their approaches to management, which generates an issue of assessing competitiveness of the Executive officer. Getting an objective view of communications of management activities, needs to identify the competitive advantages of the management worker regarding nature of the work. The paper introduces an approach for evaluation of competitive ability of the workers in managerial positions and gives definitions of the notions “language competitiveness” and “competitive advantage”, basing on current understanding of the content of labor potential. It also elaborates on the peculiarities of administrative activity, reflecting specifics of the language of communication based on the essence of labor potential. The article concludes with detecting of the features of competitive advantages of management workers and regulation of competitiveness with regard to linguistic aspects of management.
